KaWaii Baby Bamboo Menstrual Pads are Eco-friendly cloth pads worn to absorb a woman’s menstrual flow during her period. They are safer and less expensive than disposable pads and help reduce waste.

Disposable pads contain chemical beads to absorb moisture, which block airflow and increase the chance of severe menstrual pain and infection.

With proper care, our cloth pads can last for years. A disposable pad has a lifespan of a few hours, so you have to buy more and more – all of them ending up in a landfill.

Mini KaWaii Pads

  • A compact pad with less bulk – use on light days or as a panty liner
  • Three layers:
    • Outer layer: waterproof organic cotton
    • Two inner layers: 100% bamboo
  • Size: approximately 6 x 3 inches (15.5 x 7.5 cm)

Regular KaWaii Pads

  • A middle-range absorbency pad – use when flow is moderate
  • Four layers:
    • Outer layer: waterproof organic cotton
    • Three inner layers: 100% bamboo
  • Size: approximately 8.5 x 3 inches (22 x 7.5 cm)

Maxi KaWaii Pads

  • A large absorbency pad – use at the start of the menstrual cycle, when menstruation is often heaviest, or overnight
  • Five layers:
    • Outer layer: waterproof organic cotton
    • Four inner layers: 100% bamboo
  • Size: approximately 9 x 3 inches (23 x 7.5 cm)

Note: Menstrual pads are designed to absorb menstrual flow, not urinary leaks. Women with bladder control issues should use incontinence pads.

How to use

  • Lay the pad on the inside of the underwear crotch, flannel side up
  • Wrap the wings around the sides and snap to secure the pad in place
  • Flip and fold before or after use

  • Machine or hand wash in warm water – washing temperature should not be higher than 95 degrees F or 35 degrees C
  • Tumble dry on low heat
  • Do not use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners
  • Allow for 1–3% shrinkage after washing
